Welcome to Wildflower Within Therapy! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor based in Alabama, and I’m passionate about supporting individuals as they move through life’s challenges and reconnect with who they truly are. I hold a deep commitment to offering an affirming, loving space for LGBTQIA+ folks. I work to honor every identity, every story, and every journey toward living more fully and freely. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply wanting a safe and affirming place to land, I’m here to walk alongside you.

My approach is gentle, collaborative, and grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based care. In our work together, we can explore anxiety, depression, identity, relationships, life transitions, self-worth, or anything else on your heart. I believe every person carries their own quiet strength, sometimes it just needs the right environment to grow. Therapy can be that space.

What can I expect from the first session?

Simply put, we will just get to know one another. I will ask a whole lot of questions to learn more about you and what you are wanting to work on in therapy, and you will have the opportunity to get to know me and see if you think we will be a good fit. My goal is for our first session together to feel warm, welcoming, and comfortable.

How long are sessions?

Typically, a session is 50 minutes and longer sessions can be made available upon request.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes! I offer virtual sessions through my HIPAA compliant online platform so you can join therapy from the comfort of your own space.

Do you take insurance?

I do not accept insurance at this time. I am currently in the process of becoming paneled with several insurance providers, and I’ll update my website as soon as that changes.

In the meantime, I am accepting self-pay clients and can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

What age range do you work with?

I currently work with adults 18 and older.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

Therapy can be helpful if you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, curious about yourself, or simply wanting support through life’s transitions. A consultation call can help us decide if we’re a good fit.

How often will we meet?

This totally depends on your needs and goals. Many clients start with weekly sessions and adjust as they grow and heal. I like to collaborate with my clients so we can come up with a schedule that fits you best.

Is this a safe space for me?

My intention is to create a space where you can breathe, soften, and simply be yourself. Wildflower Within Therapy is an affirming home for those navigating body neutrality, LGBTQIA+ identities, gender exploration, and the deep work of healing religious or spiritual trauma. Whoever you are and wherever you come from, you are welcome here.
